Zibaldone thoughts on teaching

Following the Sieroterapico 27/02/2007 at the Institute of Milan, Via Darwin 20, from 17.30 to 19.30 was held the second meeting of the School of New Media Design Accademia di Belle Arti di Milano.

meeting was attended by: Prof. Francesco Monico (Coordinator of the School of Media Design NABA and the Chair of Theory and Method of Mass Media and Language Theories and Techniques of Radio and Television), Prof. Amos Smith (Assistant School Design and Media Directorate-Naba, Coordinator of the Postgraduate Teaching, assistant Chair of Mass Media), Prof. Antonio Caronia (Professor of Anthropology and aesthetics of media NABA Technology Brera), Doc Daniele Pignatelli (Professor Naba Royal School of Media Design), Michel Fuzelier (Professor of School of Media Design 2D Animation Naba), James Martignoni (Professor of School of Media Design 2D Animation Naba), Maresa Lippolis (Professor and Head Assembly Medialab Naba Media Design School), Luca Galli (Professor of Philosophy School of Media Design project Naba), Bertran Niessen (Professor of Multimedia Performace Media Design School Naba )

This meeting finalized the following points: A-

media disciplines can organized as follows macroschema, Grammar, Rhetoric, Dialectic of media

  • Grammar media (materials and tools / editing / compositing / recording techniques / suite macromedia / final cut / language and syntax of coding / flash ...)
  • Rhetoric media (forms of expression and language / script / narratology / aesthetics of the media / mass media ...)
  • Dialectic media (like a medium interacts with Other medium / crossmedia / transmedia / interaction design ...)

This classification was
proposed by prof. Francesco Monico who used lectures in October 2006 and October 2007 at the Institute of Superior Studies of IMT Lucca

B-disciplines need of media training criteria of taste that are more supportable by simple explanations based on 'association psychology' and a 'visual culture of empiricism', prof. Antonio Caronia supported this thesis and married the line proposed by Amos and White Francesco Monico, a line that suggests that the three axes of the theoretical school of media design are:

B.1 Understanding media (and their relations with our senses);
-B.2 Theory and History of the tale (literature as a technique common humanity)
B.3- Theory and History of a (taste education). C-

Prof. Amos Bianchi suggested that the problem of the art technology is applied to a problem of understanding art, which is detected solipsism of the student to develop avenues of research aimed only at his own artistic self- understanding of that alien's participation and understanding from colleagues and the same faculty. To overcome this, Amos Bianchi has proposed a recovery of phenomenology. D-

Prof. Luca Galli has argued that students of lacking in the ability of ' Construction sense' and that we should introduce a course on 'Fundamentals of Philosophy ' that would provide for macroconcetti core concepts such as working tools to the end. (The proposal to introduce a course on 'Philosophical Foundations ' was originally proposed by Prof. Francesco Monico Antonio Caronia at the beginning of January 2007, following a comparison of teaching and then became a joint proposal to the school)

have listed the following problems endemic to the sector:

E.1-wise Students: Due to the 'digital divide' (which is related to technological and cultural) with the tools and ideas need to be updated so fast that students are often better prepared teachers;
E.2-Sharing works: One of the underlying challenges of Higher Education in Art and Music is that the
'association psychology' el '' empiricism of visual culture ', combined with the idea of \u200b\u200bthe artist as an epiphenomenon of the peculiar self, led to a gradual abandonment of the method in favor of a sort of' anarchic solipsism 'creative;
E.3- construction work group: the epiphenomenon of the artist creator of self has led to resistance and to a non-teaching methodologies of group work;
E.4- Disability management: the culture of 'Fine Arts' has not allowed the development of syncretic teachings today as the fundamental 'self management' and 'communication of the project'.
