Friends rowers and tank tops,
some of you may already know that the Council of our CUS Bari, despite the difficult budgetary situation, last month agreed to proceed with the purchase of a new crutch for eight out of our section. This result was reached once again thanks to you all. First of all thanks to the competitive team - boys and junior - who this year has taken a shine to the horse CUS Bari podiums at various national races and Italian Championships. Secondly, where there is a good team there are good coaches and great was the work of all the technical section. Thanks to them for the coming year promises to be a result of further growth and the arrival of the new eight hopefully a nice yellow! They are also to remember all those people of the section with their help or their availability have allowed athletes and coaches you to improve their work.
Next to these factors, the decision of the Council has also contributed to the promise on the part of the section, to collect a third of the cost of eight (which is just over € 13 000) through the involvement of external sponsors, but also through a voluntary contribution of our rowers.
So with this announcement I open the collection of contributions from all of you who want to join this "collection for the eight".
